Lhota back at MTA as Chairman

Looks like Joe Lhota is back at MTA as Chairman, while another person will run the MTA day to day.

Very good news for LIRR going forward. I just saw the news posted online while I was browsing the internet. MTA website doesn't mention it yet but multiple other sources have posted it.

Lhota will be good especially with Penn Station going forward and multiple other projects including LGA Airtrain and other aspects. Fernando Ferrer wasn't doing such a great job for the agency and it showed.

The news caught me off guard and I am glad to see him back.

I agree, I'm happy to see him back, as I was sad to see him go. He would have been a great Mayor for NYC, which is why he lost.

I agree. I'm genuinely hoping that he can get things back from the verge of collapse.
