Have you ever wanted to catch a Metrolink train running with an all Rotem consist? You’ll soon have a chance!

On Sunday, December 14, a Metrolink train with a Wave locomotive and five Rotem cars will be making two round trips between Union Station and Oceanside.

Which services will the train run as?
660, 663, 664 and 667 on the Orange County Line.

When can I see them?
The train will start from L.A. Union Station at 8:50 a.m. and run its regular weekend service throughout the day, ending back at L.A.Union Station at 7:50 p.m. See the full schedule here: http://www.metrolinktrains.com/schedule ... /1152.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Where can I go to take pictures?
Use our route map to help you find a publically accessible spot with the view you want. http://www.metrolinktrains.com/routes/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Train tracks are private property. Never walk on the tracks to take photos of Metrolink trains. Click here for a list of safety guidelines.

I took some great pictures! Do you want to see them?
We would love to! Send them to us at [email protected] and we’ll share them with our fans.

It's good to see at least one Commuter Railroad actually encourage SAFE railfanning / photography. Too bad I'm stuck on the east coast where too many people think buffs are terrorists with cameras.... =_=. Hopefully, I can make it out to the LOSSAN area for Christmas break haha. :P
