I have a question. Back when CR was still around and in the late 80s I have seen CR go slightly east of Mayhill Street but before the I-80 overpass.

Has CR or even the EL "encroached" further east of this point and perhaps as far down as the Rochelle Park depot?

If so does anyone have photos to post or link here?

Block,

It has been my understanding that the northernmost track in the Passaic Junction yard was owned by EL - Conrail. It was the interchange between the two railroads. Not sure how far east they would go, but Mayhill Street may have been the limit.
