Perhaps it would make for a nice park and ride and commuter trainset storage facility.

Maybe they could run DMU's from here to MidTownDirect at MSU to alleviate some traffic?

I switched the Industrial maybe a dozen times, over a year and a half. We always did it at night, on the WS-3. the power we used was whatever was available in WS when we went on duty. Mostly the 1802, or the 116. We also ran the GE's, and indeed a SD-45 made a trip or two there, even though we had a six axle restriction, on the connecting leg of the interchange. (just go slow, and don't derail, was the instructions of the time) Prefered power for me, was the 116, although she wouldn't tote too many cars up the hill through Midland Park. The 1800's were okay, but none had operating dynamics, and running backwards was easier, in a Pup anyways.

On October 20th and 21st it will be used as the set on point for the Volunteer Railroaders Association's railroad speeder trips on the NYS&W.

It is a very nice, secure location to use.
