I found myself in Binghamton over the weekend for a visit with some
friends, and on my way out of town, I stopped and grabbed some images
that i thought would be of interest. Enjoy, and as usual, comments
are always welcome....
First up, here are two images of the 3634, fresh from overhaul and
painting, as she sits behind the enginehouse in town awaiting prep
and the return to service:

Next, the 3018 was sitting outside the one stall engine house, and
here are a couple of images of her as well...

Next, while only a small part of the 3014's nose is visible(owing to
the overhead bridge, this view shows what a diverse roster the NYSW
has evolved into:

Next, the "newest" member of the fleet, U23B 2008 sits behind the
3634 and ahead of the 2062 waiting its turn to go to work:

Next, while in the area, the BH local crew pulled west from BD with a
lengthy cut of loaded C&D cars, no doubt off the SU-99 that arrived
Saturday afternoon:

And finally here is
the SU-99 power idling in Kirkwood with only a few cars left from
its train. Unfortunately, I could not get to the right side of the
sun, so this shot will have to suffice. but still its nice to see an
all yellow jacket line up(even if the power is from the mid 60's and
70's!):

Thats all for now. Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but
footprints, and stay safe!

I know I'm getting old... My insurance company sent me only half a calendar this year!
