Hi;
Twice I have seen trains with hopper cars carrying gravel heading north on the River sub in Teaneck NJ. Does anyone know where these trains are coming from/going to?

Thanks

Dumping ballast between CP22 and CP33

Thanks for the info;
That's a lot of ballast, but then you've got double track for part of it. I had thought it might be just a ballast train(s), but these were longer than any that I had seen before.
It's always interesting to see trains other than the usual intermodal, mixed, or ethanol, and of course the trash trains coming through. I've also seen the Herzog hoppers heading south, usually ballast as well, no?
