CN has contributed $5 million to Syrian Refugee resettlement in Canada and has challenged other corporations to do the same.

CN has a long history in moving new immigrants out across the country. The photo appearing in newspapers along with this announcement shows immigrants from years past.....lined up at a CN office at Pier 21 in Halifax (Canada's Ellis Island) ready to board trains and colonist cars to head out to their new homes across Canada.
