That, I am not sure. Still see quite a few roaming around here in Socal performing local duties, but the B units are becoming quite rare, at least in this area anyway. Just don't see them that much. I believe most B units if not all, have been re-painted.

A few months ago I caught a local to Fullerton and back and had two in Warbonnet colors back to back. It was a night run so I could not get any pics.

Would have made a cool night shot if I had my tripod.

Sure wish we would have kept the Warbonnet colors. IMO that was the best paint to roam the rails. Whoever came up with green and orange.............

Rather see a faded ''pink'' warbonnet than a faded ''Peach''. My .02$

I saw BNSF 151, a GP 60M in the Warbonnet paint scheme on March 28, 2007 on the Z CHC SSE at North La Crosse. I'm not sure how to post pictures on this forum yet. If anyone would like a picture of BNSF 151, please send me an e-mail

Still see occassional war bonnets in San Diego heading into the 10th ave marine terminal.
