Reuters, as well as WBBM 780/105.9, report that a BNSF oil train derailed near Galena:

Neither source is suggesting the incident is that serious, but there have been just too many "booms" of late.

Both sources have identified the lading as Bakken Crude.

One wonders how much ammunition this gives the folks up in Lacrosse who are against the double-tracking through the marsh there.
