The Searsport Sub, Millinocket Sub between Northern Maine Junction and the wye in Brownville, and the KI Sub have all been combined into the newly minted Bangor Sub. The Millinocket Sub now starts at the north leg of the wye in Brownville, and the Moosehead Sub is unaffected.

Thanks for the update. Odd that it is named the Bangor Subdivision since the railroad doesn't serve Bangor. Perhaps an homage to the good old Bangor and Aroostook.

690,
Do you (or anyone else for that matter), know the mileposts for the new Bangor and "remodeled" Millinocket Subdivisions? Based on the old mileposts, they would be something like:

Bangor Sub
0.74 Searsport
72.12 South Wye Switch
4.0 North end of KI Subdivision
Would this now be MP 76.12 at the north end of the Bangor Sub?

Millinocket Sub
72.41 North Wye Switch
109.0 North end of CMQ (Grindstone)

Any help understanding the new mileposts would be much appreciated!
Best,
Fritz

Actually they do (albeit North Bangor). Also, the company's offices are in Bangor, so there's that.

Not sure right now, I'll try and get back to you on that.

I can confirm that MP 75 is at the Van Horne crossing, on the now former KI sub. MP is right next to the crossing. The south wye switch target now shows white for the old KI sub. Never thought to check the north or the west wye switches. West wye switch looks to be in for a rebuild.

That is probably work related to the Maine Regional Railways TIGER grant.

The MTM tie crew had made it to S. Lagrange as of last night and they did 2036 ties yesterday alone setting a record for the crew. Also the crossing at Derby has been replaced and a temporary one should be removed soon. Surfacing work is going on outside of Milo today as well.
