Just to alert folks that the Southern Appalachia Railway Museum will be sponsoring a series of photo freights the weekend of April 14-15, 2007. Special photo trips will operate on the Whitewater Valley on Saturday. Late that afternoon a trip will also cover the Carthage, Knightstown & Shirley. Saturday night will feature a night photo session, hosted by Steve Barry of Railfan Magazine, at the Indiana Transportation Museum. On Sunday, a photo freight will be operated over the entire Indiana Transportation Museum line.

The cost for the entire weekend is only $135. Funds benefit the 3 Indiana operations as well as SARM.
Pictures from past events are on our website. Two years ago our photo trip on the Whitewater Valley was featured in a number of magazines including Railfan, Trains, and CTC Board.
