Obituary: Paul Henning, "Petticoat Junction" Creat

Post by rcbsd45 »

Paul Henning, who created "Petticoat Junction", as well as "Green Acres" has passed away at 93 in California this past friday. He was also an honorary mameber of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen. Details from a local link can be found at the following:

As an aside, actor Charles Lane, who portrayed Homer Bedloe in the series, who usually tried to discontinue the "Cannonball" on the show's "C&FW Railroad"(does anyone remember what that actually stood for?) is still alive and recently turned 100 years old!
I know I'm getting old... My insurance company sent me only half a calendar this year!
