Thank you!

The river is low because of the dry period. We had a huge luck because during the week there was no rain at all, just 6 sunny days. We were told before the trip, that usually it rains in the area every week.

All locomotives were made in Harbin (China) C-2. 4 pieces are on the line and two normal gauge SYs - already out of operation
The C-2s are the modernized copies of former European 8 wheelers common on many narrow gauge line in the world (over 5000 units were built since about 1938).
The Chinese version is excellently made, roller bearings overall (wheel axles and also on the steam gear, couplers). Harbin stopped to produce them around 1987, but we did not find any manufacturer's plate with date on the engines .
On the steam dome there was a plate from Harbin Forest Machine Factory.
