Narrow gauge railway on Greenland

Post by David Benton » Fri Aug 23, 2019 12:43 am

Since Greenland has been in the news , I thought I would search wether it has(had) a railroad.

"Greenland is not the place where you would expect to find railway operations, but there has indeed been several instances where tracks have been used "

The only train trips I regret are the ones I didn't take.

Maybe Trump is a secret railfan and that's why he wants to buy Greenland?

Trump is primarily a developer--he may be interested in transit-oriented development.

Nestle should build a bottling plant there & collect the water from the melting glaciers. Then use rail to a dock to export the water to the US & Europe.
