CSX Fatal Train Accident In Fonda, New York
A woman died Friday (2/11) morning after a freight train struck her car at a railroad crossing in the Mohawk Valley. It happened in the Montgomery County village of Fonda. Witnesses say the warning gate at the crossing lifted shortly before the train arrived. The train then hit the driver's side of the car shearing off the top of the car.
