I saw a photo recently (can't remember where) of a large and impressive trestle that existed just southeast of Cookshire on the former Maine Central Railroad branch that was taken over by the CP in the early 1930s (as far as Sawyerville) and abandoned in the '60s. I believe the bridge spanned the Eaton River. Does anyone know whether it's still standing?

I Think I know the one you are talking about. I saw one up that way a few years back and snapped a shot of it. Perhaps I can dig it up somewhere...
