On the third of January 423 and 422 came through Bath headed eastwards towards Painted Post around 10 AM. I need to go to Corning later so perhaps I'll catch them again over that way.

Did 428 go back "home" to Avon Thursday afternoon?

(Whenever I see three units on a road train to Rochester, I suspect one of them might be leaving the LAL for the WNYP or B&H..it has happened before! ;) and then seeing only the 425 and the 420 the following day also makes me wonder..)

although 428 also has no reporting marks or number on the cab..so perhaps not..

LA&L arrived in Henrietta around mid-morning and picked up a car from Matthews & Fields, bringing total car count for interchange with CSX and the R&S to 30. The train departed Genesee Junction in the afternoon, taking 15-16 cats to Avon.
