Catching Trains At Rome, NY On M, A & N

Hi, every time I'm in Rome, I drive along Erie Blvd. and Railroad St. hoping to see some action on the M, A & N. I'll see cars at Rome Strip Steel one day, and then they are gone the next. Unfortunately, I've yet to see any action on the line. Is there any particular time of day, or week that I can expect to see some traffic? Thanks-NYC81
