Actually, surprisingly, the "bridge route" has been reconnected to both ends - AND they restored the connection to the small portion of the Montpelier and Wells River RR that once served a few local industries - and is now apparently being used for car storage. Google maps street view shows the current arrangement, as of Oct 2023.

Is one of the bridges still bad or could they theoretically use both routes now?

I believe the idea was always to use the left over route for storage, but I was under the impression that the bridges didn't have much left in them based on previous comments.

Wednesday's WJNP departed St. Johnsbury at 18:08 with 210 and 16 cars.

Yesterday's NPWJ went by Station Road crossing in Sutton at 14:30 hours with 210 and 13 cars.

WJNP departed White River Jct. at 11:09 with 210 and 30 cars.

WJNP departed St. Johnsbury at 14:42 with 210 and 8 covered hoppers.

NPWJ left Lyndonville at 15:44 with 210 and 13 cars.

WJNP came into St. Johnsbury at 17:48 with 2202 and 18 cars. They switched the yard and left with 13 cars at 18:03.

NPWJ was into Wells River at 18:20 with 2202 and 15 cars.

WJNP came through Passumpsic at 15:25 with 210 and 18 cars.

NPWJ departed St. Johnsbury at 13:43 with 210 and 12 cars.

WJNP highballed though Morrison’s at 13:24 with 210 and 10 cars.

Friday's WJNP was through Concord Avenue in St. Johnsbury at 14:26 with 207 and 23 cars after grabbing 10 propane further south.

Today's NPWJ departed St. Johnsbury at 13:30 with 207 after grabbing 10 salt empties for a total of 18 WRJ bound cars.

WJNP was through St. Johnsbury at 15:08 with 207 and 17 cars.

NPWJ went through St. Johnsbury Center at 14:40 with 207 and 14 cars.

WJNP departed White River Jct. at 10:30 with 210 and 10 cars.
