UP transcon through Wyoming north on I-25 to Cheyenne (just over an hour from Boulder). Take I-25 Lincolnway exit 9? and head westtoward chemical plant. Road parallels busy line heading over Sherman. Large yard in Cheyenne with overpass just east of enginehouse. Like most places, morning and afternoon-early evening is highest frequency. East of town on Lincolnway is Frontier Park where static Big Boy displayed. Fort Collins has BNSF Front Range Sub street trackage but train frequency 4-6/day. A BNSF local originating in Longmont runs through town to Great Western yard along Vine St; 1100AMish is a good bet M-TH. Also about early lunch time UP local from LaSalle is in town. Last week power was five SD40-2. Line comes in from southeast to interchange with Great Western and infrequently continue to cement plant northwest of FTC. Good thing is there are numerous great restaurants downtown area for lunch while waiting.
