Here's the roster that was accessible to OLS passengers this year in Chicago:

City of Portland (dome)
Columbine (dome)
City of Salina (coach)

Power was delivered by CNW 1995 on one end and UP 2010 on the other. In ATS territory, UP 9452 and UP 9442 (dash9's) were required.

Another coach was off-limits for passengers; I didn't get that number.

Consist was UP1995 (CNW colors), "Columbine" (coach-dome), "City of Salina" (coach), "City of Portland" (diner-dome) and "Cheyenne" (business car), with UP2010 (BSA logo) on the tail.

I was walking thru Olgilvie on Monday, and talked my way onboard for the run to Harvard & back.... VXLA's photos do it justice. ;)

Nice photos, thanks. 1995's livery is cool, but the SD70ACe cabs are butt-ugly. They should have stuck with the older design. On a side note, one of the last unaltered C&NW GEs was at Bensenville yard a week ago. Didn't have time to get a shot from 2227 as it shot by. It took me by surprise so all I know that it was 86-something.

That would have been 8646, one of the two remaining CNW GE's in its original livery, the other unit is 8701. I'm hoping they'll get them back together again at some point and assign them back onto train LPJ02, the local Proviso-West Chicago run...
