From February 11th for 10 days two FEC trains will be detouring via CSX/Tri-Rail between Hialeah and West Palm Beach due to the major work that will be taking the Fort Lauderdale Bridge out of service for about 12 hours a day each day. Trains 109 SB and 202 NB will be using the interchange near the Miami Airport between FEC and the CSX Homestead Subdivision and proceed north on CSX/Tri-Rail to WPB where they will go back to the FEC tracks. I understand they will be made up in reverse in order to accomplish the move at WPB. Could be some rather interesting train watching these days in these parts.
