I believe that Trinity Railway Express travels along ex-Rock Island trackage between Dallas and Ft. Worth.
Does anyone know if Amtrak uses the same right of way between the two cities? Or do the two railroads travel along separate routes (and not simply adjacent tracks). I'm just wondering if the "scenery" I'll see from a TRE window is any different from the view I'd get by taking Amtrak.
