Does anyone have any photos or info on the trains that went through Sullivan, Illinois on the Wabash line. I find it very hard to get any info on this section of line.

wish I did. my dad and I used to go train-watching at various places but we never stopped in Sullivan to look for the Wabash. come to think of it, we never stopped in Champaign or Tolono either. was always the Pennsylvania and IC at Effingham or the NKP and NYC over at Charleston. hope someone helps.

Here's at least one photo, but not sure which of the 3 RR's the trains belong to....probably the PD&E.

The line once went on south of Sullivan through Bruce, Windsor, Strasburg, Stewardson and at Shumway, split with lines to both Altamont and to Effingham.
