What happened to texas mexican railways engine # 509? Was it scrapped or does it survive? It is a baldwin DS44.

It is located at the Houston Railroad Museum according to the info I have.

The Houston Railroad Museum has sister engine 510. Here's the museum's page about it. No mention of 509. 509 is not listed on the list of survivors at The Baldwin Diesel Zone.

For the record, the correct Baldwin model designation for 509 & 510 is DS-4-4-750
