Steam Locomotive Bell ID

Hello Guys,
new member here. I was wondering if anyone could ID or date this Steam Lcoomotive bell? It is a air operated bell and there are marks on the inside that might have been numbers at one time..

There is a picture (cut-away drawing showing how it would be mounted) of a "quick acting internal bell ringer" made by the Transportation Devices Corporation, as figure 6.169 (page 545) of the 1941 edition of the Simmons-Boardman "Locomotive Cyclopedia." (This edition of the "Cyc," covering pretty much the climax of American steam locomotives as well as early diesels, was reprinted by Kalmbach in the 1970s: probably a reasonable number of older railfans and model railroaders have copies.)
Alas, no accompanying text.

There are also pictures (on the next page) of similar bell-ringing devices of two other brands.

These are items that the locomotive builders would have ordered in from outside suppliers, probably after showing the customer a list of options, and mounted on new locomotives. Given that there weren't too many brands, any one would probably have been used on locomotives for many different railroads.
