Train berthed into the center track at DCA, overran by ~2 doors (~45 feet) at signal C10/44. No switch damage. ROCC noticed the overrun, called the supervisor already on-scene at National (SafeTrack terminal ops) to verify the overrun. Oddly, the derailer by the signal doesn't appear to have been engaged, otherwise this would be a fair bit more of an event.

Derail was likely not up because all the other signals at the north end of National Airport were red.The primary reason the derail is there is to keep a parked train on track 3 from rolling out on to the mainline. The station is on a .035% down hill grade to the north. If memory serves 45' is roughly 10' past the points of the turnout.

With all the TOs getting shown the door for making stupid mistakes maybe I should apply for the job.
