Southcoast Rail

When Southcoast Rail opens, all Middleboro trains will become SCR trains. The existing Middleboro station will be closed (except perhaps for the Cape Flyer?), with trains using a new station that has been built on the north leg of the wye by the layover yard.

They won't be able to extend Middleborough trains to be Cape Flyer trains next year! How will they find equipment, slots through dorchester single-track? Assuming separate trains the load factor will be decimated. Or they can annul southcoast trains in favor of cape flyer trains, or run southcoast trains as shuttles

Isnt the CapeFlyer a dedicated set?

I would think that the only issue with slots would be the Friday evening train as the Old Colony would be less busy Saturday and Sunday. So we are only talking about one train, I'm sure they could find a way to squeeze it in.
