It wouid appear that MI-61 has broken down. NS 3026 is in the front, but its currently shut down and the engine bay doors are open…

MI-61 is still in Millville as of 7:09 PM…

Did not see (or hear!) MI-61 while down at Rowan today. Usually it passes between 5:30PM and 6PM. I left Rowan at around 6:30-7PM and no train. Can't confirm if it came earlier but when I was there it did not pass through.

It did, however, pass through Rowan like clockwork at 5:45-5:50 PM on Tuesday.

Maybe they broke down again?

Man, they change the power on that train a lot. Last week it was NS 3026 and CSX 6129.

MI-61 heading back to Millville from Camden now with CSXT 4450- CSXT 2531 , 31 cars passing CP-Brown 2218.

Do they usually get out of Camden at that time? Might be worth going to see it go back one day if they change the engines out this much.

Per a post on Heritage Units, MI-61 had NS 5225 leading today with NS 5286 (operation lifesaver paint) trailing…

I have to say, MI-61's times of coming through are varying wildly now. Some days, it comes through at the normal 5:30-6PM time, other days, they are going through at around midnight.

MI-61 never gets out of Millville at the same time. Usually around 4:15 PM if not a little while later. It also takes a while getting up to Glassboro because the track speed is 10 MPH from Millville to North Vineland.

My question is, has it been running consistently in the sense of usually showing up on a given day? MI-61 is supposed to be a Monday to Friday train but I’ve been hearing this hasn’t been the case lately…

If you hear it at Midnight, that is the return trip.

Due to crew availability, inbound and/or outbound car counts some days the train is annulled. It is still a M-F signup at 1500.

Yes, but I thought the return trip happens at 5-6PM usually?
