Former Delaware Coast Line B23-7s 4054 and 4024 were on today's 38G, which arrived in South Jersey via Conrail crew CA15 this afternoon. The two ex-Conrail units are bound for their new home at the SMS Railroad. This will make a total of four B23-7s on the current SMS roster.

Good news that they're still putting effort into maintenance down there.

Yeah, it's a good thing. They dumped stone on the northern portion between Camden and Winslow. Think it was 59 loads.

Pavonia Yard activity today included a CSX wide-cab in YN2 livery, an NS SD40-2, a box car covered in 'art', and CA20 running two units long hood forward.

The second Norfolk Southern Heritage Unit through Pennsauken in less than a week, the Illinois Terminal Heritage was second out, behind NS #1821 (SD70ACC) on 39G this morning 3/20. The Heritage was looking pretty worse for wear these days, as there were stains down its engine bay doors as well as peeling paint on the longhood end:

Another ethanol train bound for storage in Tuckahoe, went south this morning (4/11) along the Beesleys Point Secondary. This was the second train to make the trip to Tuckahoe in a period of two weeks. The CA-82 crew was on board.

NS #4001 was one of two AC44C6M units in the DPU position on NS 39G on Saturday, May 2nd. #4001 is one of five AC44C6M "rebuilds" in a special Norfolk Southern paint scheme. In April of 2017, she was severely damaged in a derailment in Mattawanna, PA. NS rebuilt and repainted #4001 in 2019.

Seen here along 36th Street in Pennsauken, headed for Cove Road:
