SIRT opens new Arthur Kill station

Everyone:

Staten Island Railway has opened a new station - Arthur Kill - which is located in the southwest
area of SI replacing both the Nassau and Atlantic stations on Saturday January 21st,2017.

Both Nassau and Atlantic were small stations that were close together and only allowed one car
to platform - the new Arthur Kill station will platform a normal four car train with the addition of
ADA amenities along with parking and road access. The S78 bus serves the station.
