Neat old map of the 1968 wishlist - https://libwww.freelibrary.org/digital/item/44169

Things which happened:
  • Warminster Extension
  • Airport Extension
  • Subway Extension
  • Center City Tunnel
  • Frankford El Replacement
  • Service Extension to East Norriton (maybe? is this up the Stony Creek Branch for a few stops?)
  • "New stadium" - which became the Vet, which was demolished - we did get 3 others as well.
Things which have not (yet) happened:
  • P&W to King of Prussia
  • Newtown Branch Improvements
  • High Speed Connection - Reading to Penn Central (this is not the Swampoodle connection, which IS NOT on this list, nor is it complete)
  • Trolley Link to Cargo City
  • Delaware County Transit Extension (of the El)
  • Subway Extension (up the Boulevard to the Northeast)

There are some other interesting ones like the commuter extension to East Norriton, the extension on the old PRR branch off the Chestnut Hill West line, and elimination of at grade crossings on the Media-West Chester Line.
