a loaded coal train is sittin on the siding here in hornell ny SORRY-but i wont believe the baker st yd exantion or the portage bridge till I see them. Im pessimistic cause of broken promisses (comrail) and posers-posters!

thanks for the info. I spent alot of time on the lumber st bridge! what year was hornell yard & crew change moved to gang mills? p-c and , early c-r had a crew change in the old baker st yd till 79-80ish

there has been a train of sand cars on the siding here in hornell ny(c.p. cass) for 2 days heard a coal train on the scanner this am crew had to pickup thetrainmaster at gang-green-mills cause they wernt qualified for the old yard(baker st) the new nickname around town is n.s= not shiping!

took a walk this morning to the hornell yards-a c.p. train was parked on the siding facing west(38T?).been there idling since late fri. aft! east and of the old yard on the siding is a stone train(90w).thats heading east I saw it comming thru bout 6-ish.only 3 trains since 10am -39t,22k & 13t.

a westbound empty coal train parked on the siding east of cp cass this morn 7:30 am still sittin here at 6:30pm I ve been noticing at least 4 trains daily bettewen 4-6 am thru hornell . Ihavent heard the wypa train in a month used to come tues thurs bout noonish thru hornell.

5:30 pm just heard a new train on my scanner-IO-6 east thru hornell s.t. disp.was gonna park it at cp gibson bison crew at run it east. crew on board to taxi to bingo.is IO-6 gonna be a regular train? I live 3 houses from the hornell depot but cant see the tracks till the leaves fall! thanks
