Soooo, does anybody know why #48 (5th) eastbound "Lake Shore Limited" lost 3' 30" from CHI to SOB?

Nothing explanatory in the Amtrak Alerts on Twitter. Maybe the delay is considered to be normal operations by Amtrak.

Trains #'s 313 & 314 on the KCY Corridor are both cancelled today @ condemnable wheels according to a report.

#314 is the AM run KCY to STL. Apparently, there is no spare equipment available to run the PM return to KCY.
