Just North Station to Government Center. I don't remember but I feel it was because they were taking down the El?
When the old North Station elevated station was being switched to the new underground station the loop was used for a temporary shuttle.
I saw a set in Quebec City about a month ago.
The existing trains with rearward facing seats are (if my count is correct): Amtrak Cascades Heartland Flyer Capitol Corridor Pacific Surfliner San Joaquins Hiawatha Service Blue Water Pere Marquette Wolverine Downeaster Acela Hartford Line Valley Flyer Keystone Service Piedmont And every train wit...
Speaking of the embankment, when will the new bridges be cut in by BET?
Or maybe the money was allocated for a 3 year plan to see if it works? People complain about all the money that goes to study after study. Something done with very little study gets complained about too. And I will admit the passenger counts were real bad.
I was the one to bring up Boeing and they were supposed to be the new standard but were so poor that San Francisco and Boston were the only orders.
The last time there was a standardized design for street cars was in the '70's and they were the Boeing LRV's and were a disaster. Just ask Boston and San Francisco. Hopefully in 50 years a rail company is used and we learned from those mistakes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/US_Standard_Light_Rail_...
Boston's MBTA is also using:
Kinki Sharyo type 7
Breda Type 8's
CAF type 9's
but the last time we tried to do this we got the Boeing's LRV's and that didn't go to well for San Francisco or Boston,

But the Fairmont will be one of the 1st lines electrified, be it for the environmental justice neighborhoods it goes through or as a relief valve or emergency route to South Station. So getting the 1st step electrified directly affects the Fairmount line.
Or add a second train to these routes that travels daylight through nighttime sections of these routes?
And that was a retort to you saying Via would have them 1st and was verifying your observations. Your quote: VIA will have brand new Siemens Venture trainsets with SC-42 Siemens Charger locomotives long before Amtrak's Empire service Venture trains will have ALC-42E Siemens Charger locomotives. They...
