This is the receiving yard, immediately next to the car wash along the wall looking northeast. It makes sense- the steam would supply the heat for cleaning the fleet back in the day when the RR cared wow it looked.

Its a dead issue. Phil Eng had his day in the sun at OB (duh) and now its over. RIP to a quest of bleeding money for nothing. Thank our lucky stars the engineers got it right this time.

That shot makes it easy. In the background is the westward position light signal that governs the approach to DB over the bridge. Blissville Yard was east of Dutch Kills. Unless there was a clone in LIC, that structure would not be there. I would wager it to be next to Greenpoint Avenue, near the street to allow access. And, its twin would be Bliss Tower (Ha Ha).

I believe that is signal bridge 5 in the background and Hendricksons in the foreground at Babylon, east of the tower looking east.
