There are two in service on a tourist RR in the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area, and two in service in Colorado. That would leave 2 left. Very unlikely. I seem to recall on the c-1's the seating was 3/2 on the c-3's its 2/2. Totally different wiring on the c-1's. They were complete garbage, so bad when we ...

That Lirr Steam card is very difficult to find. Leaning tree used to offer it, then the National Railroad Museum did. I cant find it anywhere. Can you tell us where you found it? It's got a few errors, but its supposed to be the LIRR. There is also a K-4 at Red Bank that's nice.

Woodside, Bayside, Flushing, and of course Jamaica are all in NYC and have pretty good service. I think Bayside is even in the top 4 in ridership.

Seems like those Billions could be better spent. They could not draw in Nassau, cannot draw in Brooklyn, so lets try Belmont . Do you really think fans from Long Island will take a train to Jamaica, then an eastbound to Belmont? Then have to do the reverse to go home? They would have been better off...

Excuse my error of thinking it would have perhaps 20 or more cars, I had seen a video of it with 21 cars headed towards Houston with engine 1943. I guess they did not use them all.

Its going to be a consist of UP Passenger Cars and observation cars. The Presidents casket will be in a baggage car with an American flag painted on the outside. It will be a pretty long train, at least 20 coaches maybe more.

I have heard that you will see position Light Signals from Bayshore to Y for several years to come. Along with double track 251, or whatever it is now. The money was diverted to the Grand Central Project. So get out there and get pictures of what will probably be the last Pennsy type signals on the ...

You can bet there will be more than one Engine. They will not want to chance 4141 breaking down. I have seen Engine 1943 there too, that one honors all branches of military service. Probably will be a third engine at least, just in case.
