Yesterday the set that was going to Doylestown ended up on a stub track at suburban To pull them that quick is not good. I talked to a Conductor today who wasn't surprised. He said he worked the repaired V's and "something didn't sound right underneath" I watched Knuppel on the news expla...

At NTC they're still jamming onto trains while ignoring the more-reliable, more-frequent NHSL. Reportedly there's only been a ~2% switch in ridership.
Word is Regional Rail Ridership is down 25+%. And Nov 1, the TWU is threatening to walk.

Heard yesterday may be delay in meeting schedule for returning cars to service. Apparently questions regarding inspections and apparently something does not match drawings. I will try to find out more.

I'm hearing no way will SEPTA be close to having the repairs done by the end of August (despite claims by Knueppel). Anybody from SEPTA's VEM here that can provide a reasonable estimate (guesstimate)?

Who exactly is Regional Rail serving on these days? Not the bedroom community of Jenkintown or the folks who live on the main line. The management at 1234 is sooo out of touch with things that they can't even fathom a concept of outsourcing something like this. NPT is an epic failure and it hasn't ...
