Re: Columbia Junction (Red Line) Derailment 6/11/19

How is service on the line nowadays? I usually ride in from Quincy to Boston but lately I’ve switched to driving halfway in and walking the other half. The one or two times I’ve tried to go from South Station and JFK have been ridiculous. I could’ve biked quicker.

Re: Kendall chimes are fixed!

It's been several years, but the Kendall Band interactive chimes artwork is now working! When did this happen, and who fixed it? They should really publicize it. The other two parts of the exhibit (the floppy sheet metal, and ring and hammer) still lack their handles. But they were never as interes...

There's already a connection between South Station and the Seaport. No need for another.

Baker came out in favor of it when talking to one of the South Coast papers (believe it was the Standard-Times).

Toll bridge leading to the same overcrowded Routes 3, 6, and 28? Nothankyouverymuch That's what people forget about when they sell the bridge. I'm not paying $X to fly across a bridge and then hit another bottleneck in Sandwich. The roads on the other side of the canal aren't getting widened anytim...

Re: Cape Flyer Discussion

Yeah! Shame on the railroad for being there before the NIMBYs bought and built their ostentatious symbols of wealth! Geez Louise, what was the RR thinkin'! In fairness, the year-round population on the Cape isn't wealthy, especially inland. It's one of the reasons why commuter service across the br...
