NH2060: This RPA Study is a good read - and even mentions some of the historical factors that contributed to the decline of the line
during the New Haven Railroad's bankruptcy years of the 60s and the Penn Central early 70s takeover years that led to the formation
of PC's Metropolitan Region - the direct predecessor through the Conrail years - to MNCR as we know it today...

It took many years of investment in the physical plant and rolling stock - the M2s primarily - to update the NH line and with the age
of some of the infrastructure - more then 100 years old for some of the remaining original NH catenary in CT - it needs to be brought
forward - the M8 car order one of the prime recent examples...

I feel that this partnership should remain solvent between the NY MTA and CDOT and not suffer from politics on either side and this
should get the financial support that this program will require...
