When were the shops closed and tracks ripped up to the shops in Reading, PA? The freight yard seems to have the same layout today as it did in the 1940s, but the shop area is decimated. The 1981 images show the rails still into the shops.
Does NS still own the shop buildings or are they in private hands now?
