Welcome to the new PRSL forum on RAILROAD.NET!

- This forum is intended for conversation and questions concerning the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines, from it's creation in 1933 until it's inclusion into Conrail in 1976. Another topic that may be included here include the Cape May Seashore Lines, a shortline railroad that has both passenger and freight operating rights over the former PRSL Cape May Branch [EFFECTIVE 6/29/08, the aforementioned railroad, Cape May Seashore Lines, shall not be discussed in this forum].

- Any members who wish to reference a current news article concerning the PRSL from another site are encouraged to summarize the article in their own words, and provide a link back to the original. Taking material directly from a copyrighted source is plagiarism and is a crime punishable by law, so please don't do that...

- Thread titles may be edited for content and clarity at the Moderator's discretion. Please make thread subjects as clear and easy to understand as possible. An example of what not to name your new thread is something like "QUESTION!!!" since that could mean anything...instead, name your thread something like "PRSL Grenloch Branch Abandonment Dates".

- Offensive or abusive posts from anyone will be removed immediately.

- Any questions or comments about the operation of this forum or the site in general can be addressed to my email (just click on the "email" tab at the bottom of this message).

Welcome aboard! We're all looking forward to lots more great PRSL conversation here on the new Railroad.net!

- Mike DiMunno, Pennsylvania Reading Seashore Lines forum moderator.

[ADDENDUM TO FORUM RULES, 6/29/08: As a result of a number of recent communications, discussion of the Cape May Seashore Lines is now prohibited within this forum. This forum is for discussion of the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines, a railroad which was in operation between 1933 and 1976. This forum has nothing to do with the current railroad operation, Cape May Seashore Lines, an operation out of Tuckahoe, NJ. Please do not discuss it here. Any threads concerning this topic will be immedietly moved to the NJ Railfan Forum, where they belong. Please direct requests for information to the NJ Railfan Forum, or Cape May Seashore Lines staff itself.]
