IIRC there were a few cars parked there as well, can't remember what.

They are bringing scrap gons down there apparently to be loaded. I suspect a scrap car is the suspect in the station damage

Apparently most of that scrap is coming off the old WN&P line to the northeast, from what I’ve heard. Lot of ROW obstructions up that way anyways.

R. J. Corman's rail crew was working either side of the easterly crossing of Annabessacook Road on the west
side of Winthrop at lunch time today. That is about 8 miles from Leeds Junction in about a week and about
36 miles to Waterville.

Still some older jointed (long pieces) of rail from Hacketts in Auburn east towards the allied road crossing

The train is being stored at Waterville for the time being. I was told at the end of the month it will go up to between Old Town and MP-36 to drop rail. No idea if it will be the whole train, or just enough to redo the area they keep derailing in.
