Hey everyone,

I have put in for the External Trainmaster position with CSX. I just want to ask a couple of questions. If someone that is a current trainmaster could respond to these few questions that I have I would greatly appreciate it.

1. I did not pass the Ischira Eye test on my physical, I have problems with certain shades of colors. However, I can distinguish many colors as well. And the company's medical department did pass me through. My concern is: 1. How often is color used? 2. How much on your job relies on the track signals? 3. Will this prove to be an issue in performing my job and during the training?

2. What is your normal day like? Such as work hours, stress level, etc?

Any Trainmaster that sees this and can respond would be a great help.

Thanks guys. hope you have a Happy Fourth!

Hello and welcome!

I am going to send this to our employment forum. There are many railroaders that frequent this board, and will better provide you with an answer.

Good luck!
