Saw an MP-15ac & a GP38-2 westbound at slow speed through Queens Village at 1255 yesterday with a single BNSF boxcar. I thought they might have pulled the lone BNSF boxcar spotted at Belmont Race Track Station out, but getting on to the Cross Island Parkway a little while later, I saw a BNSF boxcar spotted on the usual track, the eastern-most one, in the station. So, did they replace an empty BNSF boxcar with another one, loaded with hay/oats for the resident thoroughbreds at Belmont? Thanks.

Caught a GP38-2 & an MP-15ac westbound past Queens Tower at 1550, about twelve cars- covered hoppers, gondolas, empty centerbeam flatcars and maybe one or two boxcars. Where'd this train come from? Thanks.

Long NYA train westbound through Queens Village at about 1020 or so with mixed power pulling hoppers, bathtub gondolas and a smattering of tankcars, covered hoppers and boxcars. A cut of tankcars was on the end. Was this a Main Line origin or the Central Branch/Montauk ??? Thanks.
