Problems 24 October 08 with ICE fleet?

Can anyone explain what problem has caused a large number of ICE units in Germany to be laid up for inspections today? Almost any German newspaper is carrying the story, but I don't catch the details.

All 70 ICE-T sets were set aside for inspection, after one set was discoverd with cracks in a axle.

the re was a picture and story on the nci ( national corridors inititaive ) blog , but im blowed if i can find it now .
