Big Macs coming to MMA?

The ALCX 8542 and 8555 were northbound on CP (D&H) train #253
through Rouses Point NY around 4:00AM this morning. Seems like
they should arrive at Derby sometime next week..

Job #2 departed Farnham around 1600hrs this afternoon with 332 axles. Power
consist, 5026 VB-1 3609 3603 3613 ALPX 8555 & 8542 (dead) Here's few shots taken
at Farnham. Too bad it departed so late because I would have paced it to Magog
at least.

Anyone know how many of the 6000hp SD90's are left? Hopefully the MMA will get more of them to rebuild.

One more SD90 is currently in Selkirk NY enroute to Maine.
Unknown when it will leave Selkirk.

Two more have departed Farnham this afternoon.

The latest ex. Union Pacific SD-90MACS left Montreal the other day. Interchanged with MM&A. I believe Frank Jolin posted this on the MM&A Yahoogroup. He saw them thru Farnham,QC. They must be in Derby,ME by now. Has anyone seen them?

Was told the other day that 1 mac90 is running and is being put through some test and possibly being used on the rail shortly.

8542 and 8560 were on the rails on Friday 12-16. 8542 was working and the 8560 seemed to be off line. They were used to shuttle stored cars from Packard siding on the Millinocket Sub to Benson siding on the Moosehead Sub, at least that is what I gathered. They looked nice coming onto the KI Sub from the north. Don't know if they came out again.

Any updates on the SD90MACs?

If the date is correct in the photo it would appear ALCX 8542 and 8555 were in Selkirk 6/1/12. Here is the link:

Thanks for the link. "If the date is correct" is a very good question. That site is notorious for having incorrect dates and incorrect locations on photos. (I frequently come across photos with bizarre dates like 1/1/2030, and locations that are very obviously not correct. Other than that it's a great site. )
