I found this video on YouTube and it’s the first time I have ever seen something like this! Is this common or uncommon for this kind of operation? Anytime I see a video or witness for myself a car run through a crossing while the lights are gets my blood boiling.

Yeah, it's rather common. They do enforcements like that with Operation Lifesaver all the time.

Hadn't seen this thread before. I think OL used to call it "Trooper On a Train," but now it's "Officer On a Train."

Side note: Only $124 fine in Spokane? It's $311 in Maine. Violators probably won't do that a second time, and it's way less costly than being hit by a train. ;-)
