Spent most of last week in southwestern PA. Did get time to do some railfanning. Lots more action down there than up here in VT. I even was able to get down to St Marys WV and see a couple of trains street running. Short stretch but still fun to see.

I then had to go down to our site near Logan WV. Lots of rail traffic down there. Not sure how much longer that will be true with the unpopularity of coal and the huge monies being spent to open up the roads to truck traffic. Huge "cuts" around Willimson WV and Pikeville KY to allow truck and car traffic.

Seeing all the huge vacant industrial complexes in WV OH and PA is sad. I'm sure that work is gone forever.
