Even though this part is in PA, I'll ask it here since most of the ST is in NY :)

Looking at road maps, and some of the sat images, I can't tell if the switch in Lackawaxen is still there. It looks like there is still track, and if so, it is still used and where does it go, etc etc.

Yes, the switch and siding are still intact at Lackawaxen, PA on the NS (soon to be CNY) Port Jervis-Binghamton line. This is the interchange for freight traffic destined to Honesdale, PA on the Stourbridge Line (50 cars a year or less).
